英文原文：An East of England based SME offers a high-process rate wastewater treatment system. The system incorporates a self-digesting sludge process that requires no pre-screening, sedimentation tanks, no routine sludge disposal and uses little energy. The company is looking for water utility companies to install the system on site. Technical expertise will also be offered for installations. A number of processes and systems have been developed over the years to address the problem of wastewater treatment. Until now, the most common approaches are Activated Sludge and Sequencing Batch Reactor (SBR) systems that require significant capital expenditure, high on-going cost and substantial maintenance. Such systems also require routine sludge disposal. An East of England based SME currently offers an advanced and optimised form of a completely biological aerated facultative treatment process. The system incorporates fast and easy construction techniques, uses little energy, requires easy operator skills, almost no maintenance, and produces excelled effluent quality for reuse and irrigation. It automatically adjusts to handle extreme variations in flows and loadings. Making it ideal for tourist areas One of the system’s main benefit is that it operates a self-digesting sludge process that requires no pre-screening, sedimentation tanks, clarifiers, sludge removal, dewatering, chemicals or conditioning compared to other industry techniques. As the sludge is continuously self-digested within the initial treatment stage it eliminates the need for costly equipment, labour and regulation. Testing reports have shown excellent effluent quality with Biological Oxygen Demand (BOD <10 mg/l on average and Soluble Biological Oxygen Demand (sBOD) typically <10mg/l on average, well exceeding consent requirements. While other systems can deliver similar effluent quality few, if any, can do so at such a low cost-per-cubic metre or total life-cycle cost, plus with such reliability, flow flexibility and little maintenance. Sludge is continuously self-digested within the initial treatment stage eliminating costly equipment, labour and regulation ? It requires no pre-screening, sedimentation tanks, clarifiers, sludge removal, dewatering, chemicals or conditioning ? Low-operating cost – The system is unique in its use of a fully biological process along with wind powered aerator/mixers matched with an innovative diffused air aeration system. Overall the system can operate at anywhere from 50-80% less than typical activated sludge systems. ? Extensively proven in wastewater treatment and other applications. ? 100% stainless steel diffused air components – therefore longer lasting requiring little maintenance ? No cleaning or membrane replacements ? Higher quality effluent – the water from the system not only meets rigid standards, it is also better in overall quality due to advanced stabilisation of all biochemistry.
